We work across Wellington and the Kapiti Coast on everything from residential banks to road and rail cuttings, land reclamation and major civil engineering schemes.
Hydroseeding sprays a specially mixed slurry of water, seed, wood fibre, fertiliser and an eco-friendly binder in a single application. It's the method of choice when an area is too large, too steep or too inaccessible for conventional seeding.
On difficult sites we add a polymer soil-bonding medium that holds the surface together while the grass roots take over. Our techniques suit a wide range of site conditions and can be carried out throughout the year.

Revegetation
Grass isn't always the goal. We also hydroseed native plant varieties, wildflower meadows and site-specific revegetation mixes, and supply erosion control blankets for the most exposed faces.

Erosion control questions answered
How steep a slope can you hydroseed?
Very steep. We regularly grass near-vertical cuttings and rock faces, using a bonding medium to hold the mulch and seed on the surface.
Can you treat a bank with no vehicle access?
Usually. We can run up to 150 metres of hose through bush and down tracks, spray up to 50 metres from the truck-mounted cannon, or work from a snorkel lift or on ropes.
Do you only work on big civil projects?
No. We stabilise residential banks and sections just as often as road cuttings and subdivisions, and every job gets a free quote.
